A TGCF fan event running May 11-17 2025
The purpose?
To celebrate any and all uses of clones in TGCF!Whether it's Hua Cheng making a clone to keep Xie Lian company while his presence is required elsewhere, the adventures of one of He Xuan's clones at a post in Heaven, or even exploring deeper into Bai Wuxiang's activities while Jun Wu is making a public spectacle, there's a lot of potential!Art, fanfiction, cosplay, everything (except AI) is welcome!This event will be hosted on Tumblr, Bluesky, Pillowfort, and Mastodon, as well as a collection on AO3 that will have it all posted there at the end of it ❤️COLLECTION IS NOW OPEN

Guidelines
SFW and NSFW fanfiction and art submissions would ideally be gathered in an AO3 collection as well as whatever social media the creator prefers to post on.Please tag #tgcfcloneweek on Bluesky, Tumblr, Pillowfort, or Mastodon, and post in the AO3 collection: TGCF Clone Week 2025Dead Dove (definition in FAQs) will be allowed as long as it's tagged appropriately wherever posting, especially on AO3. Some sites do not allow it, please do so according to website TOS.If posting crossovers, please make sure it's at least half or more TGCF focused.
FAQs
Q: Can Nan Feng and Fu Yao forms count as clones?A: Only if they are clones and not simply transformations - the idea for the event is there are multiple of one character.~Q: What do you mean by Dead Dove?A: Dead Dove is a category to describe and push the point that the work contains commonly and deeply upsetting things. The AO3 warning tags (main character death, graphic violence, rape/non-con, underage sex) fall under this in this event, as well as incest. You may choose to not use warnings as long as you do put the applicable situations in the main tags.~Q: Do we have to include the prompt words in fics?A: No, as long as you can sense the overall theme.~Q: What if I don't like the prompts for a day?A: You're welcome to do as many or as little as you like! Honestly, if you wanted to just pick seven prompts total from the whole list and post them one day at a time, you're free to do so. Inspiration can't be forced, and there isn't going to be a strict time limit.~Q: What if something happens and I'm unable to post that week?A: The AO3 collection will stay open for quite a while after, and if there's something you'd like to submit in the collection afterwards, please contact me!~Q: Is AI allowed?A: NO! AI is absolutely not allowed in this event!~Q: Will you be doing this event next year too?A: It depends on how much people enjoy this one!
